Description

You will design, administer, and optimize Snowflake database systems, ensuring fault tolerance, security, and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and support fault-tolerant database systems and automated infrastructure pipelines.
• Manage Snowflake encryption key management, replication, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Analyze performance and scalability bottlenecks to implement technical solutions.
• Create runtime tools and processes to optimize cloud triaging and minimize downtime.
• Own production rollouts while maintaining technical ownership of critical systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in database administration or architecture.
• Proven experience in Snowflake Administration and Architecture.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake encryption key management, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with distributed database systems such as Snowflake, SingleStore, Teradata, BigQuery, FoundationDB, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing patterns and APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.
