Description

You will own the administration and optimization of Snowflake environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Snowflake platform, managing accounts, warehouses, databases, schemas, and roles.
• Configure and monitor warehouses to ensure optimal performance and data flow.
• Manage user security, including creating roles, permissions, implementing MFA, and network policies.
• Monitor query performance and warehouse workload to optimize efficiency.
• Automate administrative tasks and data workflows using Python or DBT.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Snowflake platform administration, including users, roles, and permissions.
• Knowledge of security best practices like MFA, network policies, data masking, and access control.
• Experience automating workflows using Python or DBT.
