Description

You will manage and optimize the Snowflake data platform, ensuring security, performance, and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Snowflake platform, managing accounts, databases, schemas, and roles.
• Implement security best practices, including MFA, network policies, data masking, and access control.
• Monitor query performance and warehouse workload to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Automate administrative tasks and data workflows using Python or dbt.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
• Expertise in Snowflake Platform administration, including warehouse configuration and monitoring.
• Proficiency in creating and managing users, roles, and permissions within Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms.
• Experience automating tasks using Python.
• Familiarity with dbt for data workflow automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop ecosystems.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud data architecture patterns.
