Description

Manage and maintain the Snowflake cloud data warehousing environment to ensure optimal performance, stability, and reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Snowflake environment and resolve performance issues through tuning and troubleshooting.
• Design, implement, and manage ETL pipelines and data integration processes.
• Automate processing workflows and improve existing systems based on user requirements.
• Ensure system stability, data quality, and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with data analysts and IT management to meet business objectives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data warehousing.
• Expertise in the Snowflake platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Python and scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and computing environments.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Ability to perform cost/benefit analysis and document program functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system monitoring and maintenance tools.
