Description

You will manage and operate the Snowflake data platform, ensuring stability, security, and performance for data workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, schemas, and user access controls.
• Tune virtual warehouses and optimize slow-running SQL queries for cost efficiency and performance.
• Implement and maintain RBAC roles, data masking, and row-level security policies.
• Integrate Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools and automate workflows using Tasks, Streams, and scripting.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and partner with cloud teams for infrastructure support.

Required Skills

• 3–7 years of experience in Snowflake administration or data platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake core features: RBAC, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Clustering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience supporting or managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
