Description

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, and RBAC.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, compute, storage, and query workloads.
• Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot Snowflake connectivity, performance, data loading, and production issues.
• Support Snowflake security, governance, backup/recovery, and environment management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Apache Airflow DAGs, workflows, scheduling, and pipeline failures.
• Support ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data loading, and data quality activities.
• Work with Data Engineering teams on Snowflake and pipeline-related issues.
• Participate in production support, incident management, RCA, monitoring, and automation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Snowflake Administration / DBA / Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake administration experience.
• Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data pipelines.
• Experience with production troubleshooting and incident management.
• Knowledge of RBAC, security, data governance, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Shell is preferred
