Description

Design, develop, and manage cloud-based data solutions using AWS and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-based data solutions on AWS and Snowflake based on stakeholder requirements and technical specifications.
• Optimize existing ETL jobs, workflows, and data pipelines for cloud-based transformation and aggregation.
• Develop and execute test plans for new solutions to ensure smooth implementation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
• Guide team configurations for multiple departments within a single environment to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience architecting and building large-scale, distributed big data products.
• Certified Snowflake Advanced Architect.
• Extensive experience designing scalable, highly available cloud-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
• Expertise in AWS and Snowflake architecture.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data engineering principles.
• Solid knowledge of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data quality best practices.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools and reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Payer domain, including membership, provider, and claims data.
