Description

Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of scalable, secure Snowflake solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure Snowflake solutions, including data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion and transformation using ETL/ELT tools and APIs.
• Implement performance tuning, workload management, and cost optimization strategies.
• Drive data governance, security, RBAC, and compliance standards across the platform.
• Mentor junior team members and lead architecture reviews for integration with BI platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on Snowflake.
• Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and Snowflake cost optimization.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as DBT, Informatica, Talend, or Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
• Familiarity with Python, Scala, or Spark for data transformation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps in a data context.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect).
• Experience integrating Snowflake with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Background in financial services or banking domains.
