You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure on the Snowflake platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data architectures and Snowflake solutions for large-scale analytics.
• Oversee implementation of efficient ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake native features and third-party tools.
• Optimize Snowflake performance by tuning warehouses, queries, and data ingestion processes.
• Implement automation and orchestration for data pipelines leveraging Azure and Snowflake features.
• Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards to ensure data integrity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, Marketplace, and Data Sharing.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with a focus on optimization, complex queries, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, specifically deploying and managing Snowflake clusters.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, Talend, or Informatica.
• Strong expertise in extracting and ingesting data from APIs.
• Experience with data modeling and warehousing concepts like star and snowflake schemas.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash for automating processes and CI/CD integration.
• Experience creating and tuning machine learning models in Azure and Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data orchestration and automation within Azure environments.
