Description

You will design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms, ensuring secure, cost-effective, and high-performance data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of advanced Snowflake features and architecture.
• Establish enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and reusable patterns to support strategic IT initiatives.
• Configure new Snowflake accounts, manage SAML/SCIM identity integrations, and set up PrivateLink for secure connectivity.
• Optimize platform performance and manage costs in multi-tenant environments using tools like DBT and Python.
• Ensure seamless integration of applications and data processes while mitigating risks related to resiliency, scalability, and security.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including sharing capabilities, Listings, Marketplace, Cortex, and Streamlit.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data orchestration, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with DBT, SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
• Experience with Cloud Data Services and Spark for big data processing.
• Knowledge of SAML and SCIM integrations for identity and access management.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with native Snowflake applications and data share apps.
• Background in ETL tool implementation beyond DBT.
