Description

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of advanced Snowflake architectures and data integration patterns.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of advanced Snowflake features and enterprise architecture principles.
• Establish governance frameworks, reusable patterns, and standards to support strategic IT initiatives.
• Configure Snowflake accounts, PrivateLink connectivity, and SAML/SCIM identity integrations.
• Manage Snowflake cost optimization and performance tuning within multi-tenant environments.
• Mitigate risks regarding resiliency, scalability, security, and technical debt in all architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, including sharing capabilities, Listings, and Marketplace features.
• Proficiency with DBT and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation and data orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and ETL tools.
• Experience with Spark and Big Data technologies.
• Working knowledge of Cloud Data Services.
• Experience implementing SAML and SCIM for identity and access management.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex, Streamlit, and Native Experience features.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-tenant environment management.
