Description

Design and implement scalable Snowflake data architectures for enterprise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure access to Snowflake objects using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Manage and maintain Snowflake accounts, warehouses, and databases.
• Perform Snowflake performance tuning and cost optimization tasks.
• Analyze and resolve platform-related issues within the Snowflake environment.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Expertise in Snowflake security, including managing roles and permissions.
• Proficiency in Snowflake administration activities.
• Knowledge of Snowflake concepts such as resource monitors, RBAC controls, and virtual warehouses.
• Experience with Snowflake features like Zero Copy Clone and time travel.
• Ability to manage Snowflake backups and restores using native tools and external utilities.
• Demonstrated skill in query performance tuning within Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-scale data architecture.
