Description

You will architect and lead the design, development, and deployment of Snowflake data warehouse solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, or custom Python/SQL.
• Oversee data ingestion from structured and semi-structured sources including JSON, Parquet, and Avro.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement data governance, security, and access control policies within Snowflake.
• Mentor data engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture, including Warehouses, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Data Sharing.
• Proficiency in building pipelines with Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Airflow, Talend, or Python/SQL scripting.
• Advanced SQL and performance tuning skills.
• Experience integrating with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques including 3NF, Dimensional, and Data Vault.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
