Description

You will design, implement, and optimize a Snowflake environment focused on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop optimized data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations with cloud services and on-premises systems.
• Manage Snowflake objects including databases, procedures, tasks, streams, and cloning capabilities.
• Configure Virtual Warehouses and manage data loading using COPY INTO and Snowpipe.
• Implement secure data management through RBAC, encryption, data masking, and network policies.
• Automate administrative tasks and monitor environment performance using SQL, Python, or Shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL in high-availability deployments.
• Expertise in Snowflake architecture and query performance optimization.
• Experience integrating Snowflake SSO and SCIM for identity management.
• Proficiency with data integration tools such as Informatica and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong automation skills using Snowflake SQL, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Technical writing and diagramming skills using Visio, Erwin, or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in agile sprint teams using JIRA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control for Snowflake deployments.
• Experience handling PII/PHI data and familiarity with HL7 standards or HHS agencies.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
