Description

You will design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures integrating healthcare and PBM data to support Medicare drug pricing and regulatory compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, data lakes, and data marts supporting Medicare Part D, Medicaid rebates, and STAR ratings.
• Build data governance frameworks, including metadata management, to ensure HIPAA compliance and auditability.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
• Develop strategies for data security, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and long-term archiving.
• Mentor data engineering team members and provide technical guidance on architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture.
• 5+ years of combined experience with Snowflake, AWS, and Matillion.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch, and Cognito.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Matillion.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and data workflow automation.
• Expertise in data modeling using dbt, ERwin, or similar tools.
• Experience implementing data governance using Collibra or similar for lineage and metadata.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, NCPDP, and EDI (834, 835, 837, 820).

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 3+ years of specific work in Medicaid or Medicare environments.
