Description

Design and architect end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake as the primary data warehouse. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion for scalability and performance.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.
• Define and enforce standards for data governance, quality, and metadata management.
• Optimize Snowflake performance via clustering, micro-partitioning, caching, and warehouse sizing.
• Drive data pipeline best practices for CI/CD, testing, and DevOps.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Matillion ETL/ELT, including jobs, orchestration, and transformations.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake internals: warehouse design, schema, streams, tasks, and materialized views.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and warehouse concepts (Kimball/Inmon).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), specifically AWS S3, Lambda, EC2, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of batch and real-time data processing patterns.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams using Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio.
