Description

Design, build, and deploy end-to-end analytics solutions and data warehouse environments on Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Snowflake applications and data warehouse solutions for production deployment.
• Lead the migration of existing on-premises applications to AWS, Azure, or Snowflake platforms.
• Own technical delivery, including architecture issue resolution, project documentation, and requirement gathering.
• Develop SQL queries and scripts using Python and Unix to perform Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Snowflake architecture and project design.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, multidimensional models, and data lake structures.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake advanced concepts: virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, pruning, zero-copy cloning, time travel, and resource monitors.
• Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Python for complex ELT and data transformation.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL/ELT, OLTP, and OLAP concepts.
• Experience with security control methods including network, data, and role-based access.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of various ETL tools and Unix scripting.
