Description

You will design and architect end-to-end data analytics solutions for Snowflake environments within Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data from multiple diverse sources into centralized systems.
• Select and integrate Big Data tools and frameworks to meet capability requirements.
• Develop and manage orchestration, scheduling, and logging using cloud or on-prem DevOps tools.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries and stored procedures for ELT processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in cloud data engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in the Cloud and Data industry with Snowflake expertise.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL stored procedures and ELT in Snowflake environments.
• 2+ years of Python development specifically for data engineering.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake Architecture, including SnowSQL, compute, storage, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Scala, and Java.
• Experience with Spark, XML, ETL, API, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ and stream-processing via Storm or Spark-Streaming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based Big Data services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
