Description

You will design and deploy cloud-based data and analytics platforms using Snowflake as the core architecture. You will own the release and migration lifecycle for legacy data warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy solution architectures, data migration plans, and integration strategies within Snowflake environments.
• Implement Snowflake best practices regarding architecture, standards, and governance.
• Execute end-to-end migrations of legacy data warehouse environments to Snowflake.
• Configure Snowflake functionality including role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, and Snowpipe.
• Collaborate with developers and technical professionals within an Agile delivery framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data and analytics architecture or development.
• 3+ years designing cloud-based solutions primarily leveraging Snowflake.
• Expert-level understanding of relational data modelling, data integration, and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
• Experience with enterprise tooling including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, DB2, or Informatica Power Center.
• Proven experience with data platform modernization and migrating from legacy environments to the cloud.
• Familiarity with DataOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines for source control.
• BA/BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro technical certification.
• Experience with Azure services, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DBT, Matillion, or Talend.
• Knowledge of Informatica Cloud IICS, MS Power Platform, or Power BI.
