Key Skills: Snowflake, Data Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Develop and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and data-sharing capabilities.
• Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and appropriate warehouse sizing.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP services and automate deployment/data operations using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.

Skills Required:

• 7 - 15 years of relevant experience in data engineering and Snowflake-based solutions.
• Snowflake Data Warehouse/Data Cloud development and hands-on administration.
• SQL expertise with query optimization and performance tuning.
• ETL/ELT and data pipeline development for analytics and BI workloads.
• Cloud integration experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automation using CI/CD with Git.

Good to Have:

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Fivetran, Airflow, or dbt.
• Programming for data engineering tasks: Python, PySpark, or Java.
• Data modeling and warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling and data lakes.
• Knowledge of data security, access controls, and governance/compliance practices.

Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
