Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and data-sharing capabilities.
• Optimize performance through clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and warehouse sizing.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, or GCP and automate operations using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience in data engineering and Snowflake-based solutions.
• Hands-on administration and development with Snowflake Data Warehouse/Data Cloud.
• Expert-level SQL with deep knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and BI workloads.
• Cloud integration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automation skills using CI/CD tools and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Fivetran, Airflow, or dbt.
• Programming proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Java for data engineering tasks.
• Knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, data lakes, security, and governance.
