Description

You will design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics products within Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data pipelines using Snowflake stages, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
• Develop high-performance SQL-based transformations and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines for large-scale analytics.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads through query tuning, clustering keys, micro-partition pruning, and resource management.
• Implement data governance, including RBAC, masking policies, secure data sharing, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Product Owners to design dimensional models and support reporting initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform development.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, including warehouses, schemas, and zero-copy cloning.
• Advanced SQL development for complex, large-scale data transformations.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake ingestion tools: COPY INTO, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
• Strong knowledge of query performance tuning and cost optimization techniques.
• Experience implementing secure data sharing, masking policies, and tagging frameworks.
• Proficiency in workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, ADF, Glue, or Cloud Composer.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including storage and IAM management.

Preferred Skills

• Python programming for ELT frameworks, utilities, and data quality checks.
• Experience with dbt for transformation-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
