Description

You will design and maintain scalable data infrastructure on Snowflake, owning ELT pipelines and data governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Snowflake warehouses using RBAC, masking policies, and secure data sharing.
• Develop production-grade SQL for large-scale transformations, leveraging clustering keys and micro-partition pruning.
• Implement ELT pipelines using Python, dbt, and orchestration tools like Airflow or ADF.
• Enforce data quality through testing frameworks (Great Expectations) and monitor pipeline observability.
• Manage cloud storage (S3/ADLS/GCS) and CI/CD workflows for code reviews and environment promotion.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake architecture: Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Clones.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex transformations and query tuning.
• Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball) and SCD Type 1/2.
• Proficiency in Python for data utilities and framework integration.
• Knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for storage and IAM.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD, and data modeling concepts like Data Vault.
