Description

Design, build, optimize, and productionize data pipelines and data products on Snowflake for enterprise analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, and RBAC.
• Implement ELT/ETL orchestration using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and COPY INTO.
• Optimize query performance through clustering keys, micro-partition tuning, and caching strategies.
• Apply advanced data modeling techniques (3NF, Star, Snowflake) for scalable analytics solutions.
• Ensure data governance via secure data sharing, masking policies, and tags.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on expert proficiency in Snowflake architecture and features.
• Strong, production-grade SQL mastery for large-scale transformations.
• Deep understanding of ELT/ETL orchestration patterns.
• Experience with data modeling (3NF, Star, Snowflake schemas).
• Knowledge of performance tuning, cost optimization, and time travel.
• Familiarity with collaborating with Product Owners, Data Architects, and Analytics Engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with zero-copy clones and fail-safe mechanisms.
