Description

Build and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write SnowSQL queries and develop Snowflake procedures to manage data.
• Develop Python and Unix/Linux scripts for extract, load, and transform operations.
• Design and implement data models using OLTP, OLAP, dimensions, and facts.
• Optimize complex SQL queries for database performance.
• Test code and manage deployments to higher environments via GitHub.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in ETL/ELT projects.
• 3+ years with Snowflake concepts, including SnowSQL, Snowflake Procedures, and Snowpipe.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and complex query optimization.
• Experience processing flat files: Fixed Width, Delimited, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency in Python and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Working knowledge of GitHub for version control and code promotion.
• In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS and data modeling principles.
