Description

You will design, build, and modernize cloud data pipelines and platforms, focusing on migrating legacy systems to AWS and Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and AWS services.
• Migrate legacy data systems from Informatica and Teradata to AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize data warehouse models, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Implement data governance, security, and quality standards across cloud data platforms.
• Monitor pipeline performance and optimize cloud costs within an Agile development process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, CDK, cloud data services) and Snowflake.
• Proven track record building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and RDS.
• Knowledge of legacy migration tools such as Informatica and Teradata.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and Git-based version control.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB or other document databases.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.
