Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Snowflake ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion to ingest and process data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain scalable Snowflake environments, managing database design and performance tuning.
• Create data transformations in Matillion to cleanse, enrich, and model raw data for business use.
• Integrate diverse data sources, such as APIs and flat files, into Snowflake while ensuring security and accuracy.
• Optimize ETL pipeline performance and manage compute resources in Snowflake to improve query speed.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise with Snowflake, including architecture, tuning, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion for developing scalable data pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional and relational database modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with integrating REST APIs and other data sources.
• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or DBT.
