Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Snowflake ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion to ingest data from APIs, flat files, and other sources into Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain scalable Snowflake environments, managing database design and performance tuning.
• Transform raw data using Matillion to ensure data is cleansed, enriched, and modeled for business consumption.
• Monitor ETL pipeline performance, optimizing compute resources in Snowflake and improving query speed.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse platform, including architecture, performance tuning, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion for developing scalable data pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional and relational database modeling principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with integrating REST APIs and other data sources.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT).
