Description

We’re seeking an experienced Database Developer to join the Global Data Mart (GDM-Tech) team within Institutional Securities Technology, supporting the Delta1 Structured Products business.
This is a greenfield Snowflake platform initiative focused on migrating existing KDB+ dependencies to Snowflake, with significant opportunities for design, development, and architectural input.

Must-Have Skills
5–14 years of total experience
 6+ years of U.S. work experience
 Investment Banking / Investment Management experience required
 Strong Snowflake development and data migration experience
 Database development/engineering & ETL
 RDBMS development and performance optimization
 Linux/Unix – mandatory
 Strong Python scripting
 Advanced SQL & database performance tuning
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have
KDB+/q experience
Data modeling & ETL tools
Financial data experience – inventory, securities lending/borrow, prime brokerage, position data
Strong ownership mindset and willingness to grow technical/business expertise

Experience with organizations such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citi, BNY Mellon, BlackRock, UBS, Barclays, Fidelity, Vanguard, Bloomberg, S&P Global, or Deutsche Bank is highly relevant
