Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure within Snowflake, integrating with AWS and Kafka ecosystems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage ETL processes using Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
• Design efficient data models, schemas, and RBAC models at infrastructure and data levels.
• Optimize warehouse performance through clustering, partitioning, materialized views, and query tuning.
• Implement data security measures including masking, encryption, and tokenization.
• Integrate Snowflake with external sources such as AWS S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, and MSK Kafka Connect.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and database tuning.
• Expertise in Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for query profiling and performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, SQS, and SNS.
• Experience with Kafka, MSK, and Delta Lake (Databricks).
• Proficiency in data pipeline orchestration and data wrangling.
• Experience configuring external stages and managing cloud-driven ETL tools.
• Ability to implement data synchronization and consistency across distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
• Minimum 3-year tenure in previous roles.
