Description

You will build and optimize data ingestion and integration solutions within a Snowflake-based enterprise data warehouse.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL/ELT ingestions and integrations to support enterprise data and analytic needs.
• Build scalable solutions from multiple data sources to expand the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Conduct code and pre-production reviews to ensure consistent data delivery architecture.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes and identify performance bottlenecks to optimize data engineering workflows.
• Ensure data asset quality and implement reliable, self-recovering systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years designing and building data ingestion and integration solutions for Enterprise Data and Analytics.
• 3+ years developing data pipelines using Snowflake features including Snowpipe, SnowSQL, Snowsight, and Data Streams.
• 2+ years developing models in dbt.
• Expertise in SQL within cloud-based data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Epic operational data (patient flow/clinical data, not billing data).
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Azure Git, and CI/CD data pipeline integrations.
• Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling.
• Experience with traditional and cloud data warehousing architectures.
• Knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, and ITIL processes such as change control and release management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare or clinical data, including Epic and Payer data.
• Background in data profiling and supporting BI developers, architects, and data scientists.
