Description

You will own Snowflake data warehousing implementations and database migrations.

You will migrate traditional databases to Snowflake, resolving migration challenges. Implement Snowflake features including Time Travel, RBAC, object creation, Snowpipe, and SnowSQL. Apply data modeling, metadata management, and warehousing concepts to core projects. Deliver data engineering tasks within Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Migrate traditional databases to Snowflake and resolve migration challenges.
• Implement Snowflake features including Time Travel, RBAC, object creation, Snowpipe, and SnowSQL.
• Apply data modeling, metadata management, and warehousing concepts to core projects.
• Deliver data engineering tasks within Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of PL/SQL basics.
• Experience with Teradata.
• Experience with Git.
• Understanding of cloud-based technologies.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting knowledge.
• PostgreSQL experience.
