Description

You will design and implement scalable data pipelines and reusable data solutions within a Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize SQL queries to improve execution times and reduce resource consumption.
• Design, document, and maintain technical specifications for Snowflake builds and database architectures.
• Develop data ingestion processes for both structured and unstructured data.
• Implement access controls and compliance measures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and test plans.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in designing, configuring, and migrating data for enterprise platforms.
• 5+ years of experience working on data warehousing projects.
• Mastery of Advanced SQL and Python.
• Expertise in Snowflake cloud data warehousing.
• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and dimensional modeling (Kimball-style).
• Proficiency with Fivetran, dbt, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, logical/physical database design, and data quality processes.
• Experience with cloud migration processes and Azure data services.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience specifically with dbt.
