Description

You will build and optimize data structures and pipelines within a Snowflake environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate data models into optimized database objects following governance and naming conventions.
• Develop and implement data transformation and loading processes to maintain tables and views.
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to convert data requirements into logical data models.
• Document table and view definitions and implement data quality checks.
• Optimize database performance through query improvements, indexing, and structural changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle or Snowflake.
• Experience with Python for data processing.
• Hands-on experience developing data applications in AWS.
• Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and techniques.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance principles.
• Proven ability to analyze existing data models and develop corresponding data objects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and dashboard development.
