Description

You will design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions focusing on ingestion, transformation, storage, and access management.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring rigorous extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
• Implement data lineage, data quality, and monitoring frameworks to ensure trust and visibility across the data stack.
• Administer Snowflake and Databricks platforms, managing database design, schema, user roles, permissions, and cost optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data processing, transformation, and automation.
• Deep expertise in data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
• Proficiency with modern BI tools such as Sigma Computing and ThoughtSpot.
• Proven ability to optimize compute and storage costs across cloud data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system and solution architecture principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive technical initiatives independently.
