Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's core data platform infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Snowflake infrastructure, including account configuration and role-based access controls.
• Develop, scale, and maintain ETL/ELT frameworks for data ingestion and transformation from diverse sources.
• Manage the Data Lake architecture on AWS S3, enforcing security and access standards.
• Design and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code and application delivery.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Proven expertise with Snowflake: infrastructure design, security model, and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services, including S3, IAM, EC2, and EKS.
• Proficient in Python development within data-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like CircleCI and Octopus Deploy.
• Solid understanding of data ingestion patterns across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with orchestrating workloads in Kubernetes/EKS.
• Experience with Git and GitHub for codebase management and version control.
• Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
