Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions and enterprise data architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Implement best practices for Snowflake performance tuning, cost optimization, and security.
• Integrate data from multiple on-premises and cloud-based sources into the data lake.
• Lead code reviews, technical design sessions, and mentor junior developers on data engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support CI/CD implementation and DevOps/DataOps practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and deep knowledge of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Experience with Snowflake features: Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Secure Data Sharing.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of query performance tuning and materialized views.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Git for version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
