Description

Lead the administration of Snowflake, driving the transition from on-prem DB2 to cloud data warehouse solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake environments by defining configuration standards and cost mitigation procedures.
• Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse architectures with optimized DBT models.
• Manage Fivetran data pipelines and leverage AWS Glue for data cataloging and ETL operations.
• Enforce data governance, security protocols, and monitoring controls to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Data teams to implement performance optimization strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and SageMaker.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management.
• Knowledge of DB2, SQLServer, and Informatica for migration tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA.
• Experience using scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
