Description

You will build and maintain the Snowflake Data Warehouse, driving cloud analytics transformation through data modeling and modern BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Snowflake environment to ensure performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
• Monitor data pipelines and warehouses to optimize performance and implement cost control strategies.
• Execute administrative tasks including DDL creation, user management, and account-level parameter changes.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and data governance policies.
• Configure and maintain data source connectors using Fivetran and CDAATA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall DBA experience, including 1+ years specifically as a Snowflake DBA.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• Proficiency with Snowflake ODBC, JDBC drivers, and SnowSQL.
• Experience using development tools to create CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to diagnose database problems and implement solutions.
• Experience working with Snowflake Support to triage outages and raise tickets.
• Capability to review DDLs and apply architectural standards.

Preferred Skills

• Provide technical leadership, team mentoring, and rotational on-call support.
