Description

You will manage end-to-end Snowflake cloud data warehouse implementations and support complex data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Snowflake features including resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, and data sharing.
• Execute data migrations from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud environments.
• Develop complex stored procedures, ELT processes using Snowflake SQL, and data models.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complicated data pipeline issues.
• Manage data security, access controls, and build processes for data transformation and workload management.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Snowflake administration and development.
• Expertise in Snowflake SQL, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and zero-copy cloning.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Big Data modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with Unix Shell Scripting and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of AWS S3 or Azure Blob storage and management.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD in Talend using Jenkins and Nexus.
• Knowledge of TAC configuration with LDAP, job servers, and log servers.
• Experience with GIT repository management and user/role access control.
