Description

You will manage and implement Snowflake cloud data warehouse environments and end-to-end data warehouse projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement Snowflake cloud data warehouses and manage migrations from RDBMS to Snowflake.
• Manage advanced features including resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, and data sharing.
• Design and execute data models using star and snowflake schemas and dimensional modelling.
• Build and maintain data transformation processes, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
• Resolve complex data pipeline problems and troubleshoot performance issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Snowflake administration and development.
• Expertise in Snowflake SQL, complex stored procedures, and ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and Snowflake utilities.
• Proficiency in Python for Big Data model techniques.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with AWS S3 or Azure Blob storage.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with Snowflake features like Zero copy clone and time travel.
• Practical experience working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD in Talend using Jenkins and Nexus.
• TAC configuration with LDAP, Job servers, and Log servers.
• GIT repository management and user/role access control.
