Description

Manage, optimize, and administer the Snowflake Data Cloud environment to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake architecture, including Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Fail-safe, Clustering, and Micro-partitioning.
• Implement security management, resource monitors, zero-copy clones, and data sharing features.
• Optimize costs and performance through tuning and monitoring.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and collaborate with Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams.
• Support ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Required Skills

• 4–10 years of experience as a DBA or Data Engineer.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Strong SQL expertise, with preference for Snowflake SQL.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with dbt, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working closely with Analytics teams to define data requirements.
