Manage and maintain the Snowflake environment to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and cost efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake environment resources, database configurations, and performance monitoring.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and data partitioning.
• Implement security best practices including user access control, data encryption, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan for capacity expansion and monitor resource utilization to meet workload demands.
• Mentor junior administrators and document configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Snowflake and Snowflake Cloud environments.
• Advanced SQL tuning and query tuning capabilities.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and database optimization.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and database management.
• Strong understanding of resource provisioning and capacity planning.
• Ability to implement security controls and data encryption.
