Description

You will own the data transformation layer, converting Oracle logic to DBT models on Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer existing Oracle PL/SQL code and convert it to efficient DBT models.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using SQL and DBT best practices.
• Optimize high-volume data processing performance through clustering and merge strategies.
• Collaborate with existing frameworks and standards without requiring constant supervision.
• Identify and implement performance improvements for data processing tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL for database development.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining models with DBT.
• Strong background in Oracle database structures and logic.
• Proficiency with Snowflake data platform.
• Experience with data processing and performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to reverse engineer legacy code and convert it to modern frameworks.
• Strong understanding of clustering and merge optimization strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Airflow is beneficial but not required.
