Description

You will design and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt within a global team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries against Snowflake.
• Develop ETL/ELT scripts using Python and Unix utilities.
• Implement data models including entity relationship diagrams, star schemas, and normal forms.
• Manage data sharing, metadata, and stored procedures in Snowflake.
• Document source-to-target mappings and maintain data artifacts.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with DBT and Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL coding skills.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities: SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Optimizer.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and source-to-target mapping.
• Snowflake Certification.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data sharing and metadata management.
• Ability to solve complex problems with an improvement mindset.
