Description

You will lead the design and implementation of Snowflake migration plans and enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute migration plans from on-premises environments to Snowflake.
• Build automated data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe.
• Develop automated monitoring processes using Python, PySpark, and Bash with SnowSQL.
• Implement data security, RBAC controls, and resource monitors within Snowflake.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data management and Snowflake implementation.
• Expertise in Snowflake features including Zero Copy Clone, Time Travel, and MicroPartitions.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, and RDS.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Bash, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Experience handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML, Parquet) using the VARIANT attribute.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle, Teradata, or AWS Redshift.
• Certification in Database Architect tools or Microsoft SQL Server.
