Description

You will design and build data solutions using the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehousing structures using Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Develop and optimize complex data transformations using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Manage data ingestion and integration processes using ETL/ELT tools.
• Apply normalization and denormalization strategies, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs).
• Tune SQL queries to ensure optimal performance within the data platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing concepts.
• Expertise in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (warehouses, databases, roles, streams, tasks).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience with Fact and Dimension modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools like Talend or dbt.
• Understanding of OLAP and OLTP data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with handling large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt for data transformation.
• Knowledge of advanced performance tuning techniques in Snowflake.
