Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes within the Snowflake ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines using Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe.
• Build scalable data transformations in Python using Snowpark.
• Implement data governance via Secure Data Sharing, Row-Level Security, and Dynamic Data Masking.
• Optimize performance through materialized views, automatic clustering, and search optimization.
• Monitor query performance and troubleshoot issues using Query Profile.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake SQL and data modeling using Star or Snowflake schemas.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark, Streams, and Tasks.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and orchestration tools like Airflow or DBT.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification such as SnowPro Core or Advanced.
