Description

You will design and implement complex data solutions using Snowflake and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Create high-level design and architecture, including class, sequence, and deployment infrastructure diagrams.
• Gather end-user requirements and produce technical documentation.
• Build processes for data transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
• Propose technical solutions by identifying business pain areas for clients and sales teams.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline, infrastructure, and application domain problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or development.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, and complex stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features: RBAC, resource monitors, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero-copy clone, and time travel.
• Experience deploying Snowflake data sharing, events, and lake-house patterns.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with data migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Knowledge of Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, and Big Data model techniques using Python.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores, including star and snowflake dimensional modeling.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
