Description

You will design and implement data pipelines and manage the end-to-end data lifecycle within Snowflake environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and business insights.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues while ensuring data quality, security, and governance standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data development.
• Proficiency in Snowflake architecture and Snowflake SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, dbt, or Matillion.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in writing performant SQL queries and scripts.
• Experience with Agile-based development.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data security, role-based access control, and data sharing in Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
